In any investigation there are suspects, and the all-tiefling party split up to cover as much ground as they can to solve this strange mystery. Yewsif and Leysa talk to the head cleric as well as one of the relief clerks to get a better sense of the situation. They also talk with a potential victim, but he’s…a bit much. Meanwhile, Taslinn and Fetter try their luck at a prominent pastry shop.

The party makes their way to a small, unassuming Inn called The Crossed Scimitars, and from there plan the next course of action. A few members of the party sequester themselves into their room for the night to broker information.
