Two big surprises and one interesting anecdote round up the news from Yesterday. We’ve got the return of Atari, the return of Red Dwarf, and the lessons learned during the development of CDPR’s Cyberpunk 2077. Let’s get to it.
In yesterday’s “wait, they still make games?” news, Atari sent out a press release announcing their intentions to acquire Night Dive Studios. The makers of System Shock, Doom 64, and Quake as well as a slate of recent classic HD remasters is being bought at the purchase price of €30 in Atari shares. -Joel
Let’s hope the quality is still good and not as awful as series 9… -Matt
Some interesting anecdotes, and I will eventually come back to this after seeing how CDPR approaches the upcoming patch and DLC. -Jon
