Nintendo showcases new details and special edition Switch OLED for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Yesterday Producer of The Legend of Zelda series Eiji Aonuma hosted a brief Nintendo Direct showcase of the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.  Included were reveals of new abilities like fusion and ascension, new enemies, and a beautiful special edition Switch OLED console available April 28th. -Joel


Rumors Swirl Around E3’s Future as Sega, Even More Publishers Back Out

In a further sign of e3’s dwindling influence on the video game industry, publishers Sega and Tencent have announced they will not attend this year’s annual conference, following in the footsteps of Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Ubisoft.  You can still expect these industry giants to hold their own separate presentation of their upcoming games and surprise announcements during the e3 week, but the days of large convention shows may be coming to a close. -Joel
