This week on the podcast we’re talking about The Favourite, from director Yorgos Lanthimos of The Lobster, Dogtooth, and Killing of a Sacred Deer. Night descends upon the city of Trost, bringing with it a brisk, snowy chill. Workers hang up their tools and make their way to the Maiden of Storms to let loose, grab a brew, and watch “The Barnacle” perform her latest hits. One such worker, Bramran Stonebreaker, takes a front row seat to the show, unaware that he will soon meet up with four tiefling and embark on quite the adventurous evening.
Sam encourages everyone to take just one step toward a brighter day, whether it’s by reaching out to old friends, taking an unexpected journey, or just writing a goofy little poem.

After a night of rest and recovery, the party gets their bearings and formulates a plan to head up to Trost to turn in the bounties on some of the criminals they defeated. They enjoy a nice breakfast and the doting care of Tilde before heading out into the harsh snow. Little do they realize the danger that awaits.
