Hey guys! Due to some technical difficulties we don’t have a new episode for you this week, so we thought we would jump in our time travel machine that’s suspiciously shaped like a police box and go back to our Batman V. Superman episode, which featured special guests Alex Marshall-Brown and Armond Richards. It was a blast to record and we all managed to survive the brawl between the supes and the bat. See you next week with a new episode!
It’s Christmas in July! Or rather, it’s the summer version of our secret santa movie exchange. We had so much fun doing this last time that we brought Christopher Ortiz back to do it again. Our pal (and former co-host) Ryan James assigned each of us a person and we gave them a movie we thought they would enjoy (or not).
Judge, jury, and executioner? Yeah, that’s our DREDD episode, and this is our podcast ORIGINS for Chewie. Bask in the glory of what will one day be considered the best episode introduction of all time.
Did you have a good holiday? I bet it wasn’t as crazy as the one that Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, and Anthony Mackie experienced in THE NIGHT BEFORE. Bet it didn’t involve a weed-dispensing Michael Shannon, and we’re willing to bet it didn’t involve taking a miniature train through a light tunnel to attend the biggest party of the year. It was that crazy? Oh. Well. Cheers. Special guest Erik Steffens joins us for this wild and crazy episode!
Laika has done it again with their new film KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS, and we couldn’t wait to talk about it. Friend of the show Mackenzie Peykov joins us to talk about the animated film and delve into why once again no one went out to see this one.
Gather ’round the fire because we’re about to duke it out for BEST “SNOWED IN” MOVIE. We’re joined by special guest Matt Lantrip, who makes perhaps the most aggressive argument for his film. Don’t wait another second and give this episode a listen!
Get your turkeys and boomsticks ready this fine Thanksgiving Day because we’ve got a great and divisive episode coming at you! We’re talking WARCRAFT, the Duncan Jones film based on the long-running franchise. Journey with us as we simply “don’t get it,” and miss almost everything directed to the fans. We’re joined by special guest Danielle Dutton. CHEERS!
HOLY MCKINNON! We’ve got a great show for you. We’re joined this week by Michelle Dunn from Drunk History to talk about the controversial Paul Feig remake of GHOSTBUSTERS. We ain’t afraid of no ghosts, nor are we afraid to call this movie out on some of its weaker parts. Don’t cover eyes, give this episode a try!
SORRY FOR THE DELAY! Without further adieu here’s this week’s episode. Alex Marshall-Brown and Armond Richards join us to discuss the divisive BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE: EXTENDED CUT. Like the film, our discussion runs a little long so if superhero talk is your jam, then you’re in luck!
This week we’re joined by special guests Alex Marshall-Brown and Eric Stolze to talk THE BOURNE TRILOGY. Listen to us punch, kick, and jump our way through three action-packed films with roughly the same plot. Whatever you do, just don’t mention Blackbriar because…wait. What’s that black van doing across the way? Why are there government agents surrounding the OH GOD IT’S TOO LATE OH NOOOO!
