This week on the podcast we take on Roma, Alfonso Cuaron’s Oscar contender (and winner for Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Foreign Language Film) that has us wondering if we even saw the same movie. Graham Mason joins us to go over why it wasn’t as impressive as the hype would lead you to believe. There are some great moments in here, but they’re hidden within many a baffling choice.

Maybe it will be the one with all the piranhas, or perhaps it will be the one where Nicolas Cage burns in a tall wooden statue. Guess you’ll just have to listen to find out.
Due to some timey-wimey scheduling conflicts and the convenient arrival of Valentine’s day we’re trying something a little different. It’s a Couples Movie Night episode featuring OG hosts Bryan and Chewie, each sharing a movie with each other and then talking about it. Chewie’s pick is Virtuosity, and Bryan’s pick is Titan A.E. It’s a shorter episode than you might be used to, but no less fun, and there’s speculation on whether or not Jonathan is a cuddler.
This week on the podcast we decided to watch The Nun, and God help us for doing so. Special thanks to friend of the show Elliot Campos for coming to save us in our time of need and providing some levity to help us get through this awful mess of a movie.

This week on the podcast we have a bit of a Predator problem. Namely, that the new Predator movie is called THE PREDATOR. You’d think after enough of these movies they would want to reduce the confusion, not add to it. Anyway, this movie is a bit of a mess so we brought in friend of the show Erik Steffens to help us figure out what worked and what didn’t.

In the spirit of the holidays we thought it would be a hoot to give you a battle episode featuring those feel good Christmas movies you might see on ABC Family, Freeform, Hallmark, etc. We had blast pitting these movies against each other, and even brought in producer Brian Nolan to join in the holiday tussle.
